My favorite Cutie Mark Crusaders deserves a tune of her own! I always imagined a time in the show when Scootaloo gets it confirmed that she will indeed never fly. This song is basically my take on how that wouldn't matter to her. Those wings -working or no- are not what make Scootaloo such a lovable character!
lyrics
I'll admit that I bucked a few trees
Had tears in my eyes
When I finally got the news
When I put together my twos and twos
That I can't have the life I wanted to choose
That I'll never be able to fly
It seemed oh so unfair
It's almost way too much to bear
That these so-called wings on my back
Had no business being there
But these wings, no, they don't make me
I got something that'll never forsake me
I don't need to be high up in the sky
To know just what it's like to soar
I can still feel the wind splashing in my face
The rush of breeze gets me watery-eyed
Truth be told, I love this so much more
This is what I was meant for
When I put on my helmet and rev up
Fear is all this speedster lacks
Destiny has opened my eyes
Showed that greatness doesn't have to fly
I'm just a blur as I race on by
As my screeching wheels burn up the tracks
This pegasus is something new
See my show I got a treat for you
I'll work my magic and I'll show you all
Exactly why my name's not "Flyaloo"
Come on, let me show you!
Here we go!
Flyaloo, I'll show you
Flyaloo, something new
Flyaloo, I'll show you
Flyaloo, something new
Flyaloo, I'll show you
Flyaloo, something new
Flyaloo, I'll show you
Flyaloo, something new
You better believe it!
