This was expanded upon from the first YouTube video I ever put out back in late 2012 where I took a backing track of the song "Smile, Smile, Smile" and just recorded some fun guitar tracks on top with an iPad camera. The quality was poor, but it was my way of saying hello to everyone. It was a sample of what I could at that point in time!

A little over a year later was when I first got music gear and decided to revisit the guitar jam idea, recording new guitar tracks over the same backing track. This was my way to introduce myself to recording with music gear, and so this was the first project I took on as I began the long process of learning how music production can work.
